Food & Nutrition
A sandwich making competition was held in conjunction with Health Week. The Secondary 2 students who participated in this competition had to create an interesting sandwich design with the ingredients provided. The Secondary 3 Food & Nutrition students participated in the Nutrition & Food Science (NFS) Student Seminar at Nanyang Polytechnic where they were exposed to the various ways of reducing food waste and food innovation. They also participated in an Outreach Programme at the Temasek Culinary Academy at Temasek Polytechnic, where they were allowed a glimpse of what students do in Culinary & Catering Management (CCM). They also had a chance to bake tarts and make mocktails and interact with Chefs and Service instructors.
