The Taekwondo team is led by a very experienced Taekwondo coach, Mr Robin Chow. Members undergo rigorous training to prepare for three gradings a year. Mr Robin Chow works closely with the school and Whampoa Community Club to provide our members with a unique opportunity to interact with the community at the Whampoa Community Club Poomsae Championships. The team is also supported by Mr Vinson, our alunmus. He has been instrumental in motivating our members to excel in the national interschool championships. Archery

Confidence, benevolence and perseverance are three virtues that form the pillars of the Archery CCA. In effect, archery is a shooting sport that encourages individuals to learn more about themselves, understand their strengths and weaknesses, leverage opportunities and their surroundings to achieve their desired goals Archery provides students with a platform to analyse failures, plan timely interventions, overcome challenges, experience successes in a dynamic competitive setting. In archery, success is not an entitlement - it has to be earned through grit and purposeful teamwork. To a successful archer, results are scores that serve as reflections of one's developing character in seeking self-actualisation. Although archery is a CCA, many students have benefitted from their archery experience to become confident individuals, determined learners, gracious teamplayers and thoughtful members of the community. Simply, archery is not just a CCA - it can be a life-changing experience.

Floorball is a growing sport amongst the youths of Singapore Riding on the success of Singapore's female floorball national team that won a Gold Medal in the 2019 Sea Games, the Hai Sing Floorball team was established to allow our students to develop their passion and skills in the sport from a young age. We aim to equip our pioneers with the right mindset and values as they seek to excel in this sport.

Our players have access to brand new training equipment, which is especially crucial for new entrants to the sport. Our player will also have opportunities to represent the school in national competitions as they pit themselves against top players in the 'B' and 'C' divisions. We also have the privilege of being coached by Mr Jatin Nair, the current assistant coach to the national men's floorball team in Singapore. His rich coaching experiences will lay the foundation for our pioneering team throughout their journey in this CCA.

Although a relatively new CCA, the team is managed by experienced and passionate teachers who are excited to begin this endeavour. The teachers have drawn up a detailed training plan which incorporates enough rigor and discipline to nurture players who will be confident, competent and compassionate team players.
