NCC (Land)

Hai Sing Catholic's NCC has been awarded the NCC Distinction and Gold Award for many years now. We pride in ourselves in raising young men who are independent and skillful leaders who think through processes during organisation of events. Cadets leaders work as a team to overcome weekly obstacles to ensure that the training is safe, fun and meaningful. We care, we nurture and we develop as a unit.

In the four years with the CCA, our cadets participate in various activities such as kayaking, first aid training, outdoor camps in Pulau Ubin, live shoots at Home Team Academy as well as educational lectures on crime and law in Singapore. The cadets will learn crime scene investigation techinques, drills, and campcraft. The cadets also actively contribute to the community in Pasir Ris through various campaigns to raise awareness of crimes. St John's Brigade (SJB)

St John Brigade (SJB) is the uniformed branch of St John Singapore, which provides first aid and ambulance services, as well as youth development through their Cadet programme. The weekly training sessions integrate essential first aid and home nursing skills, community service, badge programmes, leadership development, and character-building, based upon the Ministry of Education’s approach of developing 21st-Century Core Competencies through Character and Citizenship Education. Our cadets put their knowledge to good use by rendering their first aid services to the school and community. Besides imparting first aid knowledge, SJB seeks to develop the character and leadership qualities of our cadets, with the embodiment of values such as perseverance, discipline, dedication and display of team camaraderie.
